September 8 - September 11 :)

Next week we will be covering the following topics as part of our curriculum:

L.A. - Schema, Making Sentences, Making Rhymes
S.S. - Citizenship (Elvia Niebla & Eleanor Roosevelt)
Writing - Modeling Writer's Workshop
Math - Place Value
Science - Five Senses and how they relate to science investigations

Also, as you may have noticed, your child was able to check out a book for the first time this week from the library. We have signed up for a reocurring library checkout time on Thursdays, so please be sure to remind your child to bring his/her book back on that day. Of course, there will be times where the library will be unavailable (such as during TAKS testing or book fairs) but when we can we will be visiting the library each Thursday for checkout. :)

And, lastly, don't forget to sign up for a conference time on October 12th if you didn't do so at Curriculum night last night. :) A list of available times went home with your child today for you to review.
