Happy 2010!!!!!

Here are the objectives we will be covering in class during the week of January 4-8:

Social Studies - Review
Math - Review (Place Value, Fact Families, Missing Addends)
Writing - Word Choice
Science - Rocks
Spelling - (Word Families -y & -and)try, my, fly, land, band, stand, she, in, way, make

Also, this week we will begin our mid-year literacy assessments and won't be having guided reading lessons. As a result, your child will not be bringing home a new guided reading book this week. But, please don't let that stop you from reading with your child each night. Just pick one of your favorites from home each evening and have fun!
